In a previous thread i discussed security and now I've replaced my dumbphone with a smartphone, a Samsung Galaxy S10 and I totally hate it!

Is there a way to get the bl**dy thing to stop updating apps that I never use and offering new ones that are of no interest to me?

I don't see security as a problem but rather the risk that the next time it beeps ... ... I'll hit it with a hammer!

Disable the apps that you don't use. That will stop it from updating them. Don't remove them though.

    Okey, thanks!

I have disabled Chrome (not possible to uninstall) and installed Firefox. I shall look into the options for other apps.

Hi Christer, as MrBill suggested - go to Apps and scroll through the list of Apps to find ones you don't want. Click on it and it will display either Uninstall or Disable. This wiil determine what you can do.

Yes, that's on the agenda. I will be caught dead before being caught playing a game on a phone so those will be first to go.
