Wife has a Samsung Galaxy Tab A with S pen. Android operating system. She has been on Facebook connecting with friends for about 6 months with no problems. About 2 weeks ago she was posting a reply to a friend and when she hit the spacebar the word she typed disappeared and the cursor returned to the start position. No trouble using the pop up keyboard with e-mail. I reset the keyboard to factory specs in settings, still works fine with e-mail and hitting the spacebar in Facebook still deletes any word you type. Has anyone run across this problem or have any suggestions?

    Sounds like a Facebook problem.

Logged into her Facebook account with my tablet ( identical to hers ) no problems with posting a reply on my tablet. Hers still exhibits the same problem. I just may have lost my tablet to her.

Went back into keyboard settings with the thought of changing anything that was enabled to disabled and hit on the first thing I changed. I disabled predictive text and went to Facebook and it no longer deletes the text when I hit the spacebar. Go figure!
