Sounds to me like a "focus" issue. Any app you are currently using has focus. The other apps are stealing the current focus. Usually caused by accidentally hitting the touchpad on a laptop or can be caused by a faulty keyboard. Or could be some other hardware problem, even a faulty mouse. Or possibly from malware. It's not an Internet connection problem.

The TP Link Router is about 3 years old. NOTE. As I was typing this message app blank out and I was back in Firefox Browser Home Page. I don't see any evidence of Internet Connection failing though. Unit is updated automatically. Question; just what does the Firefox Installation Folder look like that I have to delete to re-install a fresh Firefox?

This is NOT a Firefox problem. You stated earlier it happens in Chrome too. Thus the problem is not a browser problem. No need to do fresh installs of browsers. This is more than likely a hardware problem or is caused by some type of malware.

I have run various anti-virus, malware apps to clear anything such as this but the problem still exists not as much in other browsers than FF.

Tony, My Post#13 was to test some hardware and run FF Troubleshoot Mode.
I don't know whether this was carried out at any stage??

FF TroubleShooting was completed. It seems to me that I am going to have to live with this problem for now and I would like to thank all those who tried to help.

I still think it's a hardware problem. You have another hardware problem with the media drive. Sort out the hardware problems first, then the browser problem will likely go away.

I went through everything I could think of in hardware settings putting back to default and then making adjustments. Lo an behold the problem seems to have been solved

Great to see it has been resolved.
My question now is whether running in FF Trouble shoot Mode did the problem occur?
FF Troubleshoot Mode Disables all Extensions and Addons, so can you clarify whether this Mode was better or the same?
Telling us you ran the Mode completely is quite vague.
Your answer will help others. Thanks.

Sorry but after running all the test suggested, I am not able to expand on what transpired. Haven't that kind of computer experience.
